No bales showing with green wrap and corrupt save ?

So me and my mate where playing on my map on series x, no mods installed, he wrapped some grass for silage using default baler, but had it on the green wrap, but none of the bales where showing for me, then when i went to save it corrupted the save and we lost about an hours work, im managed to save since and its fine

Is there a known issue with using the default baler on multiplayer ?
