Adding logo to items

Post by jeffrobodeen97 » Sun Jan 09, 2022 5:00 am

Howdy All,

I have followed every tutorial vid I can find. All say about the same. Add a new plane, import image, place new plane where you want it, move plane to inside model (one moved to visuals).

However, I am not sure what I am doing wrong because none of the images show up in game.
Anyone have an idea as to what I am doing wrong? Or maybe a tutorial somewhere that might help me?

Probably those tutorials are for FS19 or before. Have found one that is FS22? I put a decal on in FS22 and I needed Blender.

Textures need to be in the right format and size/resolution. And in the right place, of course (the folder of your mod).
Always check the logs (game and editor).

I don't know of any change between FS19 and 22 when it comes to decals.
You should do it in Blender for the best results (good UV mapping, planes matching your model's surface, multiple decals in one mesh, ...), though.
