eh ok you tested on your end? 'cause I've just tested on my backup game(Edited V2. snowmasked, fruits and ProNatureAG) and I still have the lines...
Testing on a brand new savegame, might be a fuit_density glitch...

I can now rest in peace, it's indeed fixed! But I don't know how I'm going to get rid of those line on my main savegame without screwing my planted fields or having to re-start from scratch(losing everything but my money, machinery and equipments)...

Seasons mod 1.1 released on modhub togetter with a GEO mod for midwest USA.

Any timeline for RSV update release?

I started a brand new savegame and only transfered part of my farm(I copied only a part of vehicules.xml and adjusted IDs as required,)

Everything's doing really well 'till now, the only thing I'm missing is snowplow/snowblowing equipment(except shovels), but it's not an emergency, I just started the game with 6d seasons so I have at least 18 In-Game days to figure it out...
-> Considering that I am going to play 99% in real-time as I have set up every production operations possible(sawmills, pallets, carton, woodchips, pressed-boards, greenhouses, dairy, sugar and honey), I guess I won't reach winter before a month from now. :wink3:

well im to ill to carry on with maps at this momment in time (back and forth to the hospital has taken its toll on me)
map info time.
all maps and updates are on hold (Golden Days of Farming has a small fix so will try to sort out and upload).
a small slideshow of a map i had been working on.

Hey man we haven't heard from you for a while now... are you feeling better?

Any plan to get back on modding or to release the RSV update anytime soon?

I'm very sad to talk about this, but if you can't carry on anymore(I'm just guessing there, I hope I'm wrong), could you transfer the development of the map to an other modder/team?
This would be very sad to see this map abandonned/unmaintained with all it potential... :sadnew:

Hi all,
Sorry to re-up this thread, but I'm thinking about getting back on my game that is on this map after a long break...
But I'd like to know if Somethingonmyshoe 2 has any plans for updating this map, which was simply a ton load of fun, but is in great needs and way overdue for an update...

I had performed quite a few adjustments/upgrades"patches for my personnal use, but as I haven't followed the latest changes in the game and the seasons mod, I am way lost with all those new fixes/paches/adjustments I would have to perform on it...

So, I hope SOMS2 hasn't abandonned this map(therefore he has worked on it and hopefully would release an update in a close future), it would be a huge disapointment...

I guess it would be way too much work to update this quickly?

Anw... It won't be a big work for me to grab the stock silo setup and make myself a silo mod...

With the V3 update from V2, is it just a simple drop-in update that would remain compatible with my existing savegame, or would I need to start a new game and import what I can from the current one?

I would say that you need to start a new savegame because it's a big update with new buildings added.
I don't really know what happens when you continue your savegame on a modified map (Vehicles spawning in buildings or so).

Buildings don't really matter, I did the same thing I did for the update from v1 to v2, which is move my entire fleet of vehicles/equipment/accessories/etc. to an open field that is common and unchanged between the two versions, so that I could either do a straight drop-in map update or complete reset with vehicles.xml transfer to keep my existing equipment.
Jury's still out on whether the drop-in map update works or not, because I've found another issue....

For anyone who hasn't already discovered and wishes to use Straw Harvest addon on this map: Straw Harvest addon crashes the game on Rattlesnake Valley.

No errors in the log, but logfile suggests that Straw Harvest is not compatible with FabrikScript, or at least the version included with RSV...

No issue with FabrikScript actually, it's about heaptypes, because there are additional fruits on RSV and Straw Harvest Add-on adds even more, game will not be able to cope with it ( viewtopic.php?f=936&t=119195 ). I'm currently looking into removing extra fruits from RSV and only go with default ones plus the ones brought in from the Straw Harvest Add-on. Does anyone know how to remove them? Any solution would be appreciated.

Find the modDesc.xml file. Open it up and find the line(s) that add additional fruit types. You should see one fruit type per line. Then on those lines, you'll see a useHeap="true" . Change that true to false and you have gotten rid of the heaps.
