Hey guys, I've been playing on ps4 and love the mods we get even thought they're no where near as much as pc. I'm thinking about getting back into molding so I can make maps especially for console. Been a while so I'll have to relearn some things.
What pc specs do I need to run the map tools and all? Same specs to run the game on minimal settings or what?

You need less. I can run GE on my MacBook without a dedicated GPU but can't run the game.
Download Giants editor and see, you don't need to own the game on PC to use GE.

I mainly use my laptop which is lower spec than my game pc. It runs the game on low/medium settings. I like to use the laptop as it helps to make sure that the map works on lower end machines. I don't get any problem with using the Giants Editor on it.

Do you guys get any lag in GE? I was surprised to hear you need less as far as specs go because I can run the game on the highest settings but if I open a finished map to edit in GE it takes a while to get anything done d/t lag.

Ok thanks. I figured it was a processing bottleneck but that isn't the case with your setup.Rbk_3 wrote:Even my i7 1080 GTX rig is a little laggy in GE.

Guess I'm getting a pc built lol. Mod and play on PC and still play on my console. Typical me throwing money away on stuff I don't have to have lol
