Drumard farm

Post by Goose66 »

Drumard Farm just popped up on the modhub. Looks pretty nice. And for consoles too.

It's a nice map. Will definitely be farming here. Drumard Farm is a welcome addition to my PS4.

Just me that has problems with the gate between the cows barn and the silage/manure pit area?

Would be a good idea to rename this thread..

What issues are you having?

Been playing this map ALL weekend and safe to say it's a real challenge. No loans, no nuggets, just working it.

I'm loving this map to be honest, farm yard by the pigs is kind of small. They may turn out to be a downfall soon when I start getting larger trailers and equipment.

Otherwise the only issue I've had is the main road going toward field 1 (can't remember other fields around it at the moment) is little offset and if hit it just right it stops you dead in your tracks. Also got the Holmer header trailer stuck on the lip of the road there.

I'm really liking this map too. Like with the Old Stream map the attention to detail in these smaller maps is really impressive. I find I'm enjoying this map more than Old Stream though, I just found that map just slightly too small. For a smaller scale map Drumard has got it about right in terms of size. I like the fact you can knock fields together if you want.

Probably my only criticism of it is that like with Chellington I'm really not a fan of those 2D cardboard cut out tree barriers used to edge the map. They visually draw you out of thinking you're part of a bigger world. A minor criticism though, I know they serve a purpose.

Spent all weekend at Drumard. A lot of leasing on this map for me. Loving the fact that it's all the small equipment that's being used as I've not touched most of it. Working maps like Chellington, it's been all big equipment.
