Converting mods from fs17 TO fs15

I found a really good mod from fs17 that I want to use in fs15. I want to know what I can do to get it to work in fs15. I can mod and work with files. I just need some advice on what to do to get started. Any help is appreciated

I've watched most of those and they are showing the opposite of what i want to do. I said i want to convert a mod from Fs17 To Fs15. Not the other way around. Any way i could redo the xml file to take the mod back to fs15?

You probably need to script it as a new mod. But why exactly? I've seen a few others sticking to 15, but once they try 17, they can't go back.. Me neither, 17 is so much better in every way, there's no reason to play 15 anymore. Besides, the time you spend downwards converting, could be used on converting from 15 to 17, if mods are the issue

17 is so much better in every way, there's no reason to play 15 anymore.
