MODDING ON THE NEWEST MACBOOK PRO

Post by garylee »

Alright I have gone to all the tutorials, and have gone to all the spots that I have been told. But I get there and I can not see a mod folder, or any folder. I am wondering where this folder is on my computer so I can download mods onto my game outside of the in game modding function. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello and welcome to the forum!

Please have a look a the following post which provides instructions on where to find the 'mods' folder: viewtopic.php?f=874&t=97898

You can find some tips for installing mods in the game in the following post: viewtopic.php?f=895&t=102821&p=791562#p791562

Then most likey you are looking in the wrong place. As documented in the other post you need to look in the 'Library' folder that is located inside your own home folder (the one where your 'Documents', 'Pictures', 'Music', ... folders are located), and this 'Library' folder is hidden by default (there is a link in the other post to a web-site that gives instructions on how to make that 'Library' folder visible as well).

If you have found the right 'Library' folder the location of the 'Application Support' folder that contains the 'FarmingSimulator2017' folder depends on which version of the game you have (how/where you bought it), and the different locations are documented in the other post as well.
