"It's a modder hiding behind scripts to make their mod seem fancier than what it really is and to keep it off consoles"

Really? Where is the modder advertising that this mod is so much awesomer because it has scripts in it? Where are they indicating that they want to "screw over consoles" by keeping the mod PC-only?

Maybe there is other functionality in there that they opted to implement via scripts? Sure, maybe it isn't required, but it is their mod, so why can't they do what they want with it? The double-edge of the relatively unencumbered modding process permitted by Giants is that people can do what they want. Remember - console restrictions are predominantly imposed by Sony and/or Microsoft - not Giants. Modders are not even obligated to share!

TL;DR - Stop blaming modders for not bringing mods to console. Become part of the solution, and not just another whiner. Maybe learn how to mod yourself and work with a modder to port a mod to consoles?

I wonder the same. There should be some means of contacting mod authors. I love the AR/Frame Pack but the trailer fill points are so high, the smaller combines can't dump into them, and it looks weird anyway.

This is exactly the issue.

People have this air of entitlement about them, that they deserve everything different platforms get. When they can't have it, they take it personally and blame either the mod author for being deliberately difficult and deliberately excluding them, or for Giants having some kind of vendetta against them.

Neither is true.

However, if people continue these types of assumptions, modders probably will start to avoid console users because it's not worth their time trying to make a mod that works on console. Actually, I believe a few modders have started not to cater for consoles (though, for a handful of reasons, not just this issue).

Again, be happy with what is made for consoles. There's over 500 mods to date on the ModHub for us/them, it's not the fault of Giants that it there are certain requirements that are necessary.
