can someone please help me find a tutorial for converting a fs 15 mod to fs 17,i have posted on nemorus sites but nothing.would like it to be non video

What exactly are you trying to convert? What you're trying to convert can change the method

Try opening it up in Giants editor it may convert it by itself. Open giants editor (GE), go to File-Open mod, then navigate to the mod you want to convert, when it asks you if you want to conver it, say yes

I have tried the giants convert,it turns up in the game but wont let me buy it..

hey smith wouldn't that be a store data problem? if so my advice would be to find a similar mod (I would say most placeables would) and see if the store data scripting is the same or similar in the important ways in the xml

Yes that would be a store data problem. Make sure the modDesc descVersion is 37, and do what Jessi said, go look at some in game placeables at C:\Program Files (x86)\Farming Simulator 2017\data\placeables and compare your code
