New Mod Im working on (pretty sure no one else has done it so dont steal my idea)* now released!
I am working on a mod called Ekotune, an you may be familiar with the name ekotune. This will allow all tractors(might include other vehicles in later updates)to be ekotuned 10% or 20% more hp on the highest hp engine of that tractor. So far I have done 10 or so tractors, so still a while until it is ready for launch, if you have recommendations or ideas, let me know
Today is a happy day!! after a long time of developing this mod, It is finally being released!!!

Ekotune update 1.1.0.0 is now developed, awaiting approvial/testing from giants this update will fix the store items, no more ekotune tractors, now the normal tractors are edited (I figured it out), which also means that I can now (if update is released) 'partner' with other vehicle mods (meaning I can add support for the mod tractor(s) to have ekotune options) which I am very excited to do, if people want to. Just leave a post or msg me and when I can, I will add support for the mod in a new update. When the update is out I will change the url.

The only problem with that is consoles can't have them, other then that sounds pretty cool

I kinda figured that it wouldn't be compatible with console, if I'm up to it (and can figure it out) i might bring it to console

Also, I would like to know(since the mod has a submod for each tractor) how to compile them into one big mod

You could make it a pack. I see one way to do it, and I hope you did it :
xml files only, which calls the stock tractor i3d files...
if you duplicate all stock tractor i3d files in your mod, your zip file will be way too large...

Only problem is, if the person moved the files of a custom install, it may not work

I did in fact duplicate the stock tractors, but the file is just small enough for giant to be happy with it, so no harm done (may take a while to download though), and the xml file will point to a certain area on my computer, but the game files might be different on someone else's computer(kinda what smith just said)

I'm pretty sure you could've used the "$data/..." path, which should spare duplating all the stock tractors...

Good idea, but right now i'm just trying to get the mod certified, since its failed twice now, and if it fails one more time with the description of "regrettably, your mod has not reached the wanted quality level of our ModHub yet. Please improve your mod and have a closer look into our guidelines." I will scream.

I don't understand whats wrong, here is there something other than the vehicle.xml that states the hp of a engine config? cause editing it in the xml file doesnt seem to work

Yeah, there is a bunch of stuff you can change...
A quick look into the Lizard TT shows that, and I'm pretty sure all of that affects the HP

Thanks, Turns out I wasnt changing the hp, just the store description, the hp is based on the torque scale
