Famoushunter50 wrote:So a couple of options you might be able to work with (take into consideration I know nothing about how all this modding works) making different flatbed as far as removable wooden sides or making it to where we can strap stuff on to the flat bed. Also where you can out a weight on the front of the truck for heavier loads. Possibly car like trailers for other trucks or other vehicles coming to fs17
So the flatbed will have the tension straps to steal stuff down. As for wooden sides, I could definitely make that a configuration, shouldn't be too difficult.

I'm glad I can help. I know y'all have wanted something like this for a while and no one has made it, so I thought I'd step up.

Do you want it to be able to spread it and stuff? Like a tipper? I haven't played with the ones in game so I'll have to figure it out, but I'd kinda like to hear your suggestions to get an idea of what it should do

Smith Modding wrote: The third one, a hauler pack. It will include a Dually Pickup Bed and a Hauler Bed made for towing semi trailers
3- The beds will either be bought as separate trucks or as a configuration- I while figure that out when the time comes closer to release
4- There will be engine choices, body color choices, and rim color choices, and maybe rim choices
5- all of the trucks will have a bumper hitch. The flatbed and pickup will have the option for a fifth wheel/gooseneck hitch, and the hauler will have one standard.
Definitely looking forward to the 3rd pack as the choices 'out there' are few and far between and 90% are of the 'kiddie modding clan' (ie; monster truck versions, or WAY overpowered, or still WIPs after 6 months, etc, etc).

Using the diesel F650 Dually, but it keeps 'spitting up' too many errors that I have finally deleted it (tried to fix/tweak the errors, but wasn't able to rectify them) and have been looking around for something to replace it, so the 3rd pack/option is ideal.

Cheers :hi:

So smith I don't know if you have a console but we only have 2 pick up trucks and honestly they get the job done but the braking on them is terrible and the weight is terrible. With that being said (I honestly don't know if I can be done) but weights for the front of your trucks would be amazing and I know it's easier to go off of something already in the game and there and a number of mods that are for tractors but essentially what they are IRL are brush guards for the front of your tractor but they have the same properties as weights for the front of your tractors. So could it be done but in the form of say maybe not a weight literal weight for the front of the trucks but it could be an off-road brushgaurd with the same properties as a weight kind of like the weighted wheels you can add on to the tractors through configuration im not saying " hey make some more mods for different bumpers we can attach and detatch from the truck I was thinking more along the lines of making it something you can add to the truck through configuration. The reason behind this is I honestly don't want to have to use tractors or big rigs to haul my tractors or implements. I want something smaller to quickly go from point A to point B. Im not trying to bombard you with my wants or anything in just honestly throwing out ideas from the issues I've had with the trucks in the game. You've honestly already covered my main concern which is the not having a flat bed big enough to haul what I want

Another thing I just thought of is how easy would it be to out a box on the bottom of the flatbed? The reason being is theres a mod for a toolbox the you carry to your vehicles and can change the configuration of the vehicle and it doesn't strap down and I try to carry it in the truck everywhere I go so if I need it it's there so maybe a box on the bottom of the flatbed with a sliding door or opening door and what you could do for the door to open since it'll be a flatbed the thing that makes it to where you can drop your tailgate you can hook it up to that since its already in the game and it'll make it easier on you for making it work

I could add a brush guard or something to it, but I could also change the weight of it to add more of it to the front. As for the toolbox, I have a plan for that. On the wrecker, there are compartments on them, I'll make one of them open and you could put it there. Same with the hauler, as for the dually, maybe add one of the metal toolboxes as an option?

That would be great. Like I've said in the past I honestly don't know how it works and what all different parameters you can fool with while modding I've never done and I've never seen it done that's why I was just kinda throwing those out there as suggestions

Would it be possible to put a liquid transport option on this to transport water, fuel, and liquid fertilizer?

For a heavy bumper you could look at a design like RoadArmor. They are steel bumpers, look great, and would keep it realistic while adding weight to the front tires.

I personally don't like the look of them, but I am putting exhaust on the sides where they would be on a normal car. As for the road armor, I'm looking jnto them, they look cool!
