Mud mod for console

Post by Tazman1983 »

Hi folks, would it be possible for either one of you lovely guys or even Giants can make a mud mod for console? My Xbox club are constantly bombarding me with messages asking about this,,,even if it's not possible can someone at least tell me why so i can share the news?

It can't be a mod for consoles because it has outside scripts involved. So maybe GIANTS could implement it, but not a modder

The Mud Mod ain't coming. It had scripts, and consoles can't have scripts. That's why.

no need to be quite so blunt, was merely wondering if Giants could do it as a module like they have with the ground response

Problem about a module is like with ChoppedStraw. Even if they would make it available, you need prepared maps to be able to use that feature.
So I do not think that GIANTS will include this in future.

The little bit that I saw on YouTube didn't impress me. It was a little excessive. I remember he was in the old pickup and the mud when the wheels spun covered the whole truck. It seemed kinda silly. But it was a well intentioned mod and I'm sure a lot of hard work went into it.

Consoles can't have a scripts? In Fallout 4 for example you have all of them in the nearly same time like in PC so I don't think to believe what consoles can't have script mods.
