Traffic Cone Pack

Post by DarthCain »

So I recently released a Traffic Cone Pack for FS17. I'm looking to possibly do an update soon, that makes it possible to strap the cones down, but I can't seem to figure out how to get it to work. I've tried looking at a few things that can be strapped down, but I cant find the part that defines it. Any help would be appreciated. Also, sorry to all about the rather lame, mod description, I had a better one written out, but it somehow got lost in between my last upload, and Giants approving the mod, that informed everyone that the cones could indeed, be moved by hand.

If anyone else has any suggestions on how to make the cones better, I'd appreciate the advice.

You’re cones are epic mate! Really nice addition to the game I use them when logging, if there is a part where skidder gets stuck I put them around it to remember the lads not to go near it! Or use them to remember where I am heading next to cut! I think it would be amazing if there was a light on top of them that you could turn on and off, I ain’t talking individualy but maybe a maste cone that controls all light just to see them easier in the dark? But thanks again for a great mod!
Massive thanks to all console modders out there!! *thumbsup*

I believe it's a collision mask that causes it to be strap downable, try copying the collision mask of an in game object and putting it on yours

Hm. I've tried several times, unsuccessfully, because I'd thought the same thing. I looked at several mods that were strap-able, and none of the configurations they had, seemed to work for my cones.

And thanks for all the positive comments. I'm not really sure a realistic working light on them would be possible, due to them being place-able, and needing to flash, but I'll look into it, as well I suppose.

Loves these cones. I made the people of goldcrest valley angry when I placed one right in the middle of the road for no reason whatsoever. It was pretty funny.

^^ I also blocked an entire lane just so I didn't have to stop when turning in to the main road off the farm road.
