Speaking of the devil, just got an email from Giants telling me that they are in-fact now aware of this and are looking into "fixing" the violation. Cheers to everyone that reports things like this. And just so everyone who isn't aware, there's a clear and broad line between charging for things and asking for donations, which this isn't.

I have been going around and heard that a youtuber/fellow modder has been taking his old mods and is not having them behind a Patreon page. I know and a few other have been talking to him about this and he doesn't seem to care. Goes to show that this is against Giant's ToS under section 6. This has been sent to Giants, but I just wondered if anyone else here knew about him.

You cant just slander people for no reason.Being a patreon gives them early access a few days before they go public.

Not slandering, he doesn't release to public anymore, if you never heard, he got sick of people giving him "negative" feedback, that he only makes people pay for his work now.

I really fail to see where the issue is here really. Considering if anything does happen Giants may just pull those maps from the Modhub. Now personally I'm not a logger, but there are quite a few people here who like those maps.

The point here, is he charges people money, for mods, in-which that is against ToS under section 6. Now if I made mods -which I don't, and I asked for donations, that's the difference. But forcing people to pay for a month subscription service for mods is the red flag.

alott modder i think gettin mad people puttin there mod up on site and they not finish i can see a point but why not just finish the mod first then put it out like bms does and few other doo to i know i see alot people beggin for mod to be relase but people just dont get what it take to do a mod

I am mad because someone is not only taking advantage of people who don't know the rules to get a quick buck but he is also breaking the rules knowingly and disrespecting Giants by using their software to ILLEGALLY make money! I think he should be kicked from the modhub.
