How to download mods

Sorry if there is already another post on this I could not find it. I just moved to pc and cannot figured out how to download mods can some one please help?

There are two ways
1) download them in-game, select "mods" in the main menu.
2) download the mod file online and put the file in the "mods" folder.
C:\Users\User\Documents\My Games\FarmingSimulator2017\mods

thanks dogface finally figured it out. gonna take awhile to figure everything out this is the first gaming pc ive ever owned lol.

I KNEW there was a sticky! just couldn't find it. :(

should rename(repost) "tips for installing mods".
