Question about changing mod
I would like to make some changes in the mods I use. I only play single player, so the modifications will just be for personal use. I am trying o change working widths of plows, cultivators, seeders, etc. Changes like what gamemods does with his ghost tools, and Frithgar in his NW Texas series. I make what I think are the changes in GE, but when I try to save I just get error saying can't save. Any help will be appreciated.

^^ I believe you edit that information in the .xml file of the mod, but I could be incorrect on that.

^^ No problem. Before you make any changes, I recommend making a copy of the original .xml so that you can replace the edited one if something gets messed up.

IIRC (been awhile), in-game working widths (not store display values) are modified within the i3d file, using Giants Editor. These nodes are typically near the front of the trailed tool, towards the outer edges. If you adjust these, I believe you also have to adjust the "AI Worker" nodes as well, as those are what the AI workers use.
For fertilizer spreaders and sprayers, they are often offset to the rear of the tool.
