Whenever I launch the Giants editor, the startup dialogue comes up and then crashes. The log looks like this:

and is followed by several hundred more lines of "Error: Failed to create render texture. Status: 36055.".
I've tried the older version compatible with FS15 but I couldn't see any objects in the viewport when i3d files were loaded. I'm now working on mods for FS17.
Any help would be massively appreciated.
