Question for GIANTS

Post by Dogface »

Is GIANTS planning to add skinning (rigging) support for Blender?

This seems to be a key element to optimization of mods, and the majority of modders use Blender. link

you will either get no answer or can't tell you either way, I got impression Giants isn't that bothered about working to get Blender exporter working as they are still getting mods from 3Dsmax and Maya and the last time i asked i was told to learn Maya.

I don't mind learning Maya, I just don't want to pay $1,505.00/year.

Same here bud. I appreciate how easy they’ve made it to get into modding, however when u want to step it up a notch, you’re expected to pay some serious $$$ for maya. No thank you :biggrin2:

That's very much for real. Maya is an awesome and user friendly software but that price tag is what keeps me using blender
