Trees with reflection / GE

Post by W1der »

I noticed that some trees has reflection in the water and some do not.

Is there a setting that I can apply in GE for the trees that I have placed close to the water, or do I have to import the trees with reflection separately?

That is weird, and cool.

Are you making a map or just placing trees in-game?
Are the trees different in some way (growth state, shrubs)?

I am making a map.

If you take a look at GCV in GE you see that all the spruce and pine trees placed next to water is in a transform group that GIANTS named "treesWithReflection".
I also just found a "silver tree" that I never noticed before (on the small island).

For my map I used the "regular ones" but now I regret this (it looks weird).
Possibly there is an "attribute" for the trees that one can change to give them reflection ... it would be nice to have reflection to other kind of trees than pine trees also!

I don't see any difference between trees in or out of "treesWithReflection". Maybe it is a function of the water plane?

Could it be an attribute in the transform group?
