How do you remove the removable hedgerows on The Pacific Northwest map?

On The Pacific Northwest map, the description and the in-game map picture indicates the presense of removable hedges, but I am not able to figure out how to actually remove one of the removable hedges.

Think you use a chainsaw on the dotted hedges. Not 100% sure though.

It shows how to do it in your garage/ workshop at your main farm.
