"You do not own this property" Error

To all,

Please help with any information that may aid in this frustration I've been running into. Every time I try and enter any vehicle it gives me the "You do not own this property" message and refuses to let me enter any vehicle, on any save game, on any map. I have the MPOwner mod uninstalled...what do I do? I really would love to play this game with my son but it has been frustrating trying to figure this out. Any help would be appreciated!

Hello and welcome to the forum ...

I have this mod installed but I never used it.
It seems as if there is a file created called mpowner_db.xml.
(Located in the same folder where you find your mod folder and savegame folders.)

If this was my problem I would try deleting this file and see if that fix things.

But as your MPowner mod is not installed this should not be a problem ...
Have you tried installing the mod again?
