Giants can't because it is not their mod.

exactly. Giants cannot edit anything they do not own. i can see a towbar being useful in fs 19 with equipment breakdowns and stuff tho. anyhow. just my 2 cents

Potentially, yeah, they probably could add the scripts, but:

1) They won't. FS17 is pretty much at the end of its lifecycle as FS19 is so close

2) Its not their mod to alter. The author may not even want it on console.

3) It's not worth their time for 1 mod. They have bigger and better things to be focussing on.
