Hi - this is my first post. I have searched around the forum for something similar but I haven't had any luck in finding the answer to my question. I hope I've picked the correct sub-forum as I think it is mod-related and not original game-related. I have been helping my son farm for about a year on FS17. I help him download mods, etc. I think I may have downloaded a mod that has a virus. During play, this window pops up. I thought at first it was for the actual game, but after reading it, it seems like it isn't legitimate. The grammar is off. I have tried to put a password in but it won't let me type. Our only option is to click "Leave" and it shuts the game down. Has anyone else come across this? Advice, please? TIA.
Registration for mod? Does this seem right?

I think you have installed this mod:
http://farming-simulator.com/mod.php?la ... tle=fs2017
It's been made to allow people to 'own' equipment and money in multiplayer games.
For a single player game it's not necessary at all =)
It's a legit mod, but not made by someone who speaks fluent English.

It was on the mods list! I deleted it and will see if it makes a difference.
Thank you!

A quick note, as I had to do this today. I was experiencing some major issues with my game today after installing quite a few mods. I always scan them after downloading to add some extra safety, but that was not my issue. Check your log.txt file for mod loading errors to single out what could be the problem. Here's a good instructional video
