Re: fs17 ps4 mods certain tractors
Not for fs17. The John deere license for consoles don't start until fs19 is released and only fs19 will be allowed to have any jd mods.
Re: fs17 ps4 mods certain tractors
Just because Giants has a license to some JD equipment, doesn't necessarily mean the floodgates for mods are wide-open. There may very well remain some exclusions that are not permitted under the aforementioned license agreement.
For example (very random, arbitrary one): John Deere may have explicitly stated that they do not want any tractors older than 1994 (random, arbitrary number) appearing as endorsed content (acknowledged and supported by Giants). Ergo, any mod contravening this may be relegated to 3rd party mod sites, and remain available solely to PC (based upon what is currently known about the restrictions/limitations imposed upon Console mods, and the potential inability for Giants to host them on the in-game mod-hub)
Be ready to be surprised (positively), but also prepare to be disappointed if something you want to happen, doesn't. If it doesn't happen, rather than rant/whine about it (which you are not here - just stating for objectivity), seek out the information to understand why it may not be/was not possible
Temper your expectations accordingly.
