how to edit collisions - PJ flatbed trailer

I really like the look of the PJ flatbed trailers with smaller trucks. However when attached the collisions prevent the view from being expanded. you are stuck with a view immediately behind the cab of the truck until the truck turns, changing the angle and then is scrolls out to larger view, but back in to narrow view once truck and trailer straighten out. the no collision camera mod does not seem to affect this.

I have not looked at this before in a mod - any help on how to change this is appreciated.
