Exporting Edited Map to The Game

Hello im just getting started trying to edit maps . But im wondering how i put my edited map into the game. All the tutorials i have seen doesen't solve my problem. How do i save it? The only files i get after saving it is the Map that you can edit and some files about the terrain.

maps take a lot of files to work in game. make a copy of the entire folder of the map you are editing and change the name then put that in your mod folder. you still have to change some titles in the Moddesc so you can tell the two apart when loading the game. might I suggest looking up OldGuyGaming on youtube he has some nice map making tutorials.
