Help! Free Camera Mod Error

Hope this is ok to post, on FS17 I used a mod made by HarvesteR called free camera. It was a game changing mod for myself and have been trying to track him/her down to see if they would be kind enough to convert it to FS19. I have been trying myself but I am certainly not a coder, I have managed to get the mod to show up in FS19 but the mod generates the error (continually repeating once entering a vehicle until the game locks): freeCamera.lua:58: attempt to call field 'hasEvent' (a nil value). Would anyone on here be able to help? Even if its to point me in the right direction as I dont want to tread on the original modders toes nor try and take any credit it just I cannot get on with the original games camera.
