[FS19 Tutorial]Adding paintable grass to mod maps

Adding paintable grass to a mod map has to be done via the map.xml, otherwise it wont work on those maps but luckily it's simple and easy to do.

First find the map you want to add it to and unzip it to a folder, then go into the map folder and find the map.xml file once you have found it open it with notepad++(can use regular notepad as well but I highyl recommend that you use notepad++ because it's nice)

Now do the following

add this in the map.xml
paintableFoliageId="1"

between the groundtypemapping "layer" and the /> in that line for the groundtype that you want to be able to paint grass

then add this below the </groundTypeMappings>
<paintableFoliages>
<paintableFoliage id="1" layerName="grass" firstDensityMapChannel="0" numDensityMapChannels="4" value="2" />
</paintableFoliages>


So it looks the same way as in this pic

what if i wanted to add other paint-able textures, such as plates? where can i get the values
firstDensityMapChannel="0" numDensityMapChannels="4" value="2" /> <----these values would have to change but finding them in the i3d is not listed.
