Just to let you know guys i got this to work, i scaled the model up in giants editor, on a copy of the original file, if anyone knows a better way i would be very grateful, but i have a better looking icon now, which i will include in an update when it passes testing.

Generator works good. One thing I would like to see is being able to resize the box. I can't access half of the options because the generator box goes off my screen

I just update the first post with the link to the newest version of the Icon Generator.

Changelog:
  • Mod Directory is now saved
  • Window is now scaleable for a better display on small display resolutions
  • Fixed issues with "Getting Started" dialog
  • Editor performance setting is now automatically set to "Very High"
  • Added "Advanced Bounding Box" option to be activated if the vehicle is cut off the icon
  • Various smaller issues

Hello all,

So I seem to be having an issue with this tool that has been provided to us. Getting it set up works fine but as soon as Giants Editor opens it freezes and I have to force it to shut down. The game, editor, and icon tool are all the newest versions. Also the mod I have created works as it should in game without any errors, except a few warnings for missing icons.

Below is the log file from the icon tool. Any and all help will be appreciated.

Hi Way2drunk2walk,

Thank you for the report. I'll put it on my list for the next version.

A temporary solution for you would be to change the vehicle type of your trailer from "livestockTrailer" to "baseAttachable". Then it should work without any problems.

Don’t know if it is the same issue, but I had what sounds like this, my problem was that I had the welcome screen popping up which I had to turn off, maybe this will help, I hope so, if not I tried

So all that happens after I click "Generate" is Giants Editor opens gives this: "Error: source('C:/Users/BLAKE'~1/AppData/Local/Temp/_MEI199282/temp.lua')(1) : ')' expected near '~'
Check for updates (https://gdn.giants-software.com)" and then it causes the icon generator to freeze.

When i try to generate an icon, it says in the "log file" that it couldnt find the xml. Whats wrong?

you need to move whole file unzipped in the mods folder's. If i have not understood let me know.

I specified all three paths and box "Mod items" is still empty. What I am doing wrong?
