Hey
My computer is technologically old. I'm currently making everything for a new map and want to provide the best experience for users with better graphics hardware than mine.
Wondering what is a good texture sizing in pixels which provides an efficient file/loaded size with good detail for the higher resolutions?
And, should multiple smaller images be used, or is an "array" type image with multiple textures on the one more efficient?
Thanks
Texture/image resolution/size

Re: Texture/image resolution/size
... Ok, that went well!!!!
Try again...
Are there any differences in texture requirements for making a "HD" quality mod/map??
And, should multiple smaller image (eg 512x512 per texture) be used, or is an "array" type image (eg 512 x 2048) with multiple textures on the one more efficient?
Thanks!!!
