Hi,
I think the issue of it not working on 2.82 is known. I'd downgrade to 2.81 instead till it's sorted out.

Hello! Few minutes before I instal Blender 2.81 and it doesn't work too. I see this addon in list, but I can't activate him. It writes 'upgrade to 2.8x required', that's strange...

Are you using the one Giants made or the community one from NLD?
Link to the community one: https://nld-community.nl/files/file/380 ... lender-28/ The current one from Giants doesn't work with 2.8 so you have to use this community made one

In my opinion it's shame that on official GDN site there is download link for something, which doesn't work.

(Update 30.3) - Ups... It doesn't work on 2.81, I will try 2.80.
