First off I'm new to modding so I'm probably missing something really simple.
I was looking at the Krampe KS 950. I wanted to remove the chassis, I tried to Ctrl + X the body, but only the decals get removed. Here is a video showing this https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/ ... FY9s5h.mp4.
I extracted the shapes file and it's one merged model. So how is this done? I have looked at the XML of the i3D file and can't find anywhere it links the transform group to the model.
I have tried searching for anyone else asking this but can't find anything, any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

If you read the i3d's XML, look for skinBindNodeIds= :>
Merged Meshes are lost on export to OBJ if you want to edit parts in e. g. Blender. That's a mess :>
