Map editing | Missing descVersion attribute problem

Post by AvCaJack »

Hi, hope I'm posting this in the right place (first time on the forums).

I've been editing Greenwich Valley by adding a few new buildings to make up a new yard. I've done this before - a long while ago in the past - and never had an issue. I remembered to alter the texture paths for the new additions to the map etc. However, when I boot up the game the map doesn't show up as an option when creating a new savegame. It appears in modhub as needing an update (which I know is normal having edited it).

In the log it comes up as:
Available mod: (Hash: bfb0776b94bafff2981005833b6ce9e8) FS19_Greenwich
Error: Missing descVersion attribute in mod FS19_Greenwich

Anyone able to help?

This ususally means that FS can't find the modDesc.xml and that usually means that the mod/map is zipped incorrectly.
