Adding new crop type to a mod map

Hello farmers. I am not a modder so I am not so familiar with working my way into this. So, I would like to ask how can I add a rice crop to a mod map without it?

I am currently working my way with the rice crop of Italian Rice XL map and copying some files to the map I want it to have to (Rabacino). Unfortunately after many attempts and having watched many videos about adding a new crop type, I cannot successfully add it. I managed to get the rice crop show in combine, header and seeder shop menu but I cannot sow it in the field saying "this crop is not available to this map". It wont also show in the crop type menu.
