Modding our Personal Dedicated server

Post by Noob Farmer69 »

Hello, My name is Maddie (apparently a disallowed username on this site)
Me and my husband are hosting our own FS19 server on our own server pc but cant figure out how to mod it.
So can anyone tell me how I add mods on our server? I have googled but there are no tutorials on how u mod a personal dedicated server.
Would appreciate any advice and help :) thanks

Hi there

Im suposing you have the dedicated server on a computer that you have with farming simulator
If so, when you start the server it will be available on your IP address with the port 8443 for https and 8080 on HTTP
however, use your https:// yourip :8443

once you login (initial credentials are admin for user and a random password)
you will see listed all the mods that computer may have in the documents folder > mygames > farming simulator > mods
your server files will be found under documents folder > mygames > farming simulator > dedicated_server

dedicated server will read the mods folder, and on server web page you will be able to access and activate the mods as well upload new mods

The initial password for the admin user (username admin) is randomly generated when you first start the dedicated server.
It is stored in dedicatedServer.xml (next to the dedicatedServer.exe) in the node <passphrase>

The url to connect is shown by the dedicatedServer.exe.
