FS22 remaking ownble lands (GE)

Making edits on Alpine map and new ownble lands with info layers, but it just wont work, what am I missing?

Not sure what you are missing, but we are missing error log, description of what exactly you did and what are you trying to do.
Also did you try a new save?

I want to extend the owned land size of field 51 on elmcreek I have imported it into the giants editor but do not know how to expand the owned land. Also I have successfully deleted all the buildings next to field 51 but when I reload the map in game there is a van still there that does not show up in the editor. How do I delete the van?

There's no errors. In GE and try to make a non ownble ground ownble, its painted with channel 63 atm, but I repainted it so I can buy/own it. But it wont work. New save game, what does that have to do with this?

You need to go to terrian info layer mode, chose farmlands in the info layer painting, and from there just paint with what channel you want to be done with. I have problem my self atm, not sure if something is new in FS22, but this is how ive done in pre fs's.

About the van, open up GE with selected map, look for splines, trafficsystems, then parked cars, you should find ur van there, and just delete it.

You can just ctrl+R and LMB on the farmland channel to select it, so you dont have to search for it in dropdown menu.
You also have to point to farmlands.xml in map.xml like this

    <farmlands filename="maps/mapUS/farmlands.xml" />
Then in farmlands.xml point to grle file you edited. like this

    <farmlands densityMapFilename="maps/mapUS/data/infoLayer_farmland.grle" numChannels="7" pricePerHa="60000">
If you are wondering why i have 7 channels instead of 6, is so i can have more than 63 farmlands.

But can't I just extend a farm land without change into xml's? Ex, the land I try to repaint is former "sell area" (all chanels selected). (AlpineMap)

Its the selected (white area) I want to repaint. I tried to extend the yellow area to the right, but it wont work. Ive done this before in FS19, but was awhile since I did, so I might forgot something.

I've managed to get it working by deleting the "infoLayer_farmland.grle" before saving in GE (make a copy first, just in case).

If it allready point to correct farmlands grle file, then yes. But if it still points to a file which is in game installation folder, it will always load default file and not the one you edited. thats why you need to atleast check if filepaths are correct.

I know this old hat, but i'm trying to do exactly same.
Deleted all those building and the car.
Before I waste everybodies time, is there a tutorial/video on exactly how to enlarge field 51?(any other for that matter)
