I was under the impression that the new texture formats for FS22 were,
BC1 DXT1--- for all textures not requiring alpha transparency
BC7 -- for all textures requiring alpha transparency
BC4 -- for height maps
However I now see that items on the FS22 ModHub that have passed testing are still using the old BC3 DXT 5 format and in Giants Editor these textures are not flagged as errors, as was the case previously with DXT3 textures in FS19.
So I would like a definitive answer from Giants as to what textures should/can be used when creating maps/models etc to avoid any future testing problems that may arise regarding texture formats.
