Help Getting Started

Trying to get started modding. Can someone help guide me in the right direction. I had coughed up the $5 for the giants tutorials but they seem to go way too fast without much explanation and I find myself pausing and rewinding quite a bit. I downloaded Blender, Giant's editor with the i3d exporter, Paint.Net, and Notepad++.

Any help and/or guidance would be incredibly appreciated.

The best thing is to start small. Change the working width of a tool, for instance.
Or go on youtube and find a detailed FS22 tutorial and follow along.

Or pick one Giants mod, say the FS22_strautmannSEK802, and make a copy and study all the parts. A trailer is simpler than a tractor because it has less functions. Look at the xml, the i3d, the 3D model, the textures.

Any youtube recommendations? I messed around with adjusting working widths and capacities in FS19 via the XML. I really want to make a gravity wagon lol. Just need help being pointed in the right directions as far as tutorials and guides

If you want to make a wagon from scratch, then you need Blender. Fortunately there are a million Blender tutorials. I recommend Blender Guru Channel, he is great and starts from the beginning.
