game speeds up?
Hi, recently started playing Drumard Farm, got about an hour in and when i was walking it sped me up like x10 speed then back to normal speed again, and keeps doing it, same when i look at the clock and money, they speed up for a second and then back to normal!?. I tried a few other maps and it hasnt done it again, but only did about 5 minutes on each map. Anyone else have this problem? map specific?.

Re: game speeds up?
remove the mods with error next to them
Re: game speeds up?
Also don't have additional mod maps in the mod folder.

You can have multiple map mods in the mod folder in FS17, you now just have to deselect them on the mod page before you enter any savegame.Guil wrote:Also don't have additional mod maps in the mod folder.
Re: game speeds up?
Yes I'm aware of that but I have seen the likes of don_apple suggest otherwise and I'm pretty certain I have seen logs posted that had mod maps loaded regardless if they were selected or not.

Well I don't do what don_apple does, I am just giving the people another way around this. We have different ways of doing things.

Don't want to go off topic too much but just going to add here what I believe I have learnt about this from several members on here, regardless of wether you select a mod once you're in the menu, the game DOES still load all mods before you get to this point, so there can be script conflicts with maps and these conflicts will happen as soon as you open the exe to open the game. If the mod is in the mods folder it loads upon startup of the game, not when you start a savegame.
What ever it is I just said; I could be wrong!

@danielhawkins, hmm, interesting. I thought it would've changed since they had the new mod select page. Nothing has happened to me, I usually just deselect any mod maps before starting a new game.

Yes could be a thought. I hadn't considered that. No nothing has happened to me either, nor have I had any errors. Maybe a dev could pop in here and confirm whether mods are loaded when you start the game or whether they are loaded when you start the savegame.JohnDeere318 wrote:@danielhawkins, hmm, interesting. Like I said I was simply passing along information. Would the log.txt confirm or deny it? If you start the game with all mod maps in the mod folder and then check the log, quit the game, delete the log and remove all but one mod map and then start the game and check the log again?
