New Razer Laptop

[Questionnaire]

I am thinking of upgrading from an old Mac to a brand new Razer Blade Stealth. Several questions,

1 Will the Razer run it? I'm not a computer guy and don't know some the basics (don't hate me ).

2 Is a 4k display worth it or should I stick with QHD?

3 Can you mod on it? I've never modded

From what I saw on the site they don't come with a dedicated graphics card just an integrated chipset. That's bad news I would say without knowing anything about that particular chipset. I saw that you could buy the core to plug into it for desktop like gaming power so if your planning on buying both your probably fine but that alone was $500 plus the laptop. Unless they sell a unit with a dedicated GPU then nothing I just said applies to that.

I will only get the core after I get the Razorblade stealth and it struggles with gaming, other than that it may be a waste of money.

From what I can tell the computing power that thing is pretty spectacular but she won't be doing really good gaming without the core. If you specifically need the laptop I think the money is justifiable otherwise there's better value in a desktop

I'm guessing you read the article, so if I have the core connected to a monitor (tv?) It will run smoother? And I will ask my 4k question somewhere else. Thanks for the Resource
