i downloaded the latest update (1.4.4) but when i click to run it to install/update it says the game isn't installed. i've been playing the game so wouldn't that mean it's installed?!
i've contacted giants help directly and they asked 4 questions.
1) Is the game a disc or download?
2) Have you tried to uninstall and reinstall the game? (Please note that lost in saved data is a possibility)
3) What kind of computer do you have?
4) Are any mods installed?

1 it's a download because my computer doesn't have a cd drive
2 no i haven't tried that. do you have recommendation to not lose saved data?
3 i have a samsung laptop
4 yes i already have a few mods installed
they haven't replied to my answers
does anyone else have ideas to solve my problem? if i do end up uninstalling and reinstalling the game, do you have recommendations to not lose saved data?

- navigate to your FarmingSimulator2017 folder
- copy all folders containing "savegame" to your desktop
- move all mods to your desktop
- uninstall the game
- delete farmingsimulator2017 folder (if it still exists)
- install game
- install the patch
- start game to test it
- move all folders to the farmingsimulator2017 folder
- move all mods into the mod folder
- start game to test it

All I say to people is just install FS17 again and it will work. Somehow, it gets uninstalled for some reason but you are still able to play it. Just install FS17 as you normally would and it would work. Believe me, I have had this problem before and it works.

ME too have a same problem how to solve it. I tried the above solutions and it didn't worked..please someone help
