no connection could be established to the server

Hello all ,
When I launch the game from Steam and make it to the menu: Multiplayer>Create Game>Select Game File>Deselect Mods>Server Options
At this point I click the "start" button and I expect to see it loading my game in a manner that other players can connect to my game (ie, hosting a multiplayer game) but when I click this "start" button I get:
"Please wait, connecting to server"

Then

"no connection could be established to the server"
This error comes up when creating a LAN game or trying to join a sever.

I put my computer on DMZ to eliminate port forwarding issues and the same issues appear. I have removed all mods, reset IPs, verified game integrity and still the same issue.

Tried it with UPnP on and off, nothing changed.


Any ideas?

I have this problem too on Payware Hosting. Once a day serwer stops.

yes I have a big problem I cant get the fs 17 1.4.4 up date I down load it where in the hell do I load it in to the game getting very fed up I am getting to the point will not play the game know more I give up

So it's everyone else's fault that you don't know what to do with a simple exe file? How did you install the game initially?

So ive seen alot write about this problem, and the only thing the mod response 2 is bad behavior....how about helping the players fix the problem, instead of picking on 1 person that is totally right on his words....

Which 'problem'? First, rickey's problem isn't clear. Second the updates for the game are freaking .exe files, click them and they install themselves.

User has used STEAM for the Game. So he have the last patch installed?

We need a last Log.txt of Game. Than we can say more about the Problem.
Other Point is the Restrictions of Software like Antivirus or separate Firewall on PC

You have to make a entry in Firewall for open the Ports 10823-10835 on TCP
Same on same Ports for UDP, for Income and outgoing Transfer
No DMZ
UPnP is ON

If the Router have UPnP than it is ok,
if Not, than you have to make same Entrys as in Firewall so in the Router
