download file, find file in downloaded files folder, copy it, or move the file, that way you dont end up With double the amount of files.. Find the -my games- folder->fs17->mods. Paste it there. If they need unzipping ut usually says in the name. For the most part you dont neeed to do anything else.

How that update in game even works? Even when you update the mod, that green update button still apears for some mods, even it is installed.

No idea. But; the mods thath can be found on the modhub you just install from the modhub.
