PC Newbie needs help installing DLC

Just like it says. I have a legit big bud dlc but have no idea how to actually install it. Please help Totally lost. I have 7zip already downloaded.

Since you mention 7zip I guess you are on Windows, right? If yes, and you have bought the DLC directly from giants and downloaded it via their eshop all you need to double-click on the downloaded 'FarmingSimulator17_bigBudPack_v1.1.0.exe' and it will guide you through the installation.

I actually had to zip the big bud dlc up and then add it to the mod folder. It wouldn't work in default unzipped form.

There was no need to. The DLC on pc is just an .exe file on Windows so as Don says, just double click it and it will install. I'd guess you done that and then zipped it anyway which was not necessary.
