Steering wheel and sidepanel

My steering wheel en sidepanel gets recognized in game but doesnt get activated.
Does anyone know what the problem is of this?

Hallo Ik had dat ook eerst in windows 10. Als alles goed is dan wordt het meteen herkend plug and play. Soms is het nodig om de usb stekker even eruit te halen en dan er weer in de zelfde poort. Vaak werkt het dan wel. Anders even kijken via zoeken joy.cpl enter en dan kiken of alles het doet.

First of all, Boer Ad, you are in the English section of this forum. Meaning, you must try to write in English so all of us can understand. Dutch isn't understood very well by most people on here. Sorry man.

Second, lots of USB peripherals are installed with them plugged in and turned on. That is not the way to do it. When installing drivers, never, ever plug the peripheral in the computer before the drivers are installed. When doing that you show the computer something new but it has no clue on what it is and does. With the driver pre installed the computer recognizes the tool and will activate it for you to use it.

Edit: One thing lots of players forget is that the option for gamewheels/gamepads is not set to on in the options menu. Check that also.
