Hello Everyone,
I have bought a Speedlink Phantom Hawk flight stick, as I saw someone also playing fs17 with this joystick. But now, when I connect the joystick to my computer, FS17 totally fails to launch. Steam says 'preparing to launch' and then nothing happens. When I disconnect the joystick, fs17 just starts up and runs normally. Has anyone any idea how to fix this so I can play fs17 with the controller? Many thanks.

Yes, I already made sure I had installed them.
Re: Phantom Hawk Flight Stick
Thats a shame.
There was someone a month ago with the same problem that solved it by uninstalling the cd drivers and installing the ones from the Speedlink website.

Hope you'll find a solution.

Thank you, I will try that!!

Thank you, it worked for me.
Re: Phantom Hawk Flight Stick
The flightstick does now work ingame. But, when I try to start fs17, the game keeps scrolling down the menu non-stop, so it is unable for me to start a savegame or do key-mapping for the controller. How can this be solved? I already disabled the flightstick under the mouses in the device manager.

It works for me now!

Hello there, just to ask.. How did you get this working, I have tried to uninstall the driver which makes the device listed as a (generic game controller), then launched FS17 and started having the scrolling issue..
I tried to disable individual AXIS but that did not work, i have heard that the pedals and the steering wheel i have are interfering with the joystick that uses the same AXIS.
I have also used software ( joysticks and joytokey ) to "fake" input as a Xbox controller and that also did not work.
Thanks,
Jamie
