Downloading from FS website

So I'm thinking of purchasing FS17 through Amazon or Steam. Amazon gives you a code. Is there a link someone could post where I can download the game and input that code? Anyone have an opinion which would be better, Steam or Amazon. I do have a Steam account...

I have 17 on XBox One, but the Mods for the PC are drawing me in.

Amazon gives you an activation code that you have to put in during the installation of the game.

Steam will update the game as soon as there is an uodate/patch released. Using the Giants version you have to manually download and install updates when they get released.

Steam is useful for rolling back to previous versions although mods don't work on them as far as i have read (don't play on PC) unsure if the download from giants would have the rollback option. Nothing different between them either both are pretty much the same thing. Enter details and download. Nothing has anything the other doesn't.
