friend can no longer join my multi player game (Xbox One)

This has happened twice! The first time a friend of mine and I
were working on Goldcrest. I saved the game and we came back the next day
to play together. My friend could not join me. We tried all of the tips
that can be found online to resolve NAT type / multiplier issues for Xbox
One. Nothing worked. I then joined his game fine, and he could join me on
one of my other save games. But could still not join on the map we were
working on together. It will get to the point of where it says syncing with
other player and then the sync stops and he never gets fully loaded into
the game. He is still at the loading screen but can hear birds chirping. So
I deleted my save game and restarted Goldcrest. He was able to join. We
worked on Goldcrest for about 3 hours and then got booted because we lost
connection to the server. It asked if I wanted to save, so I did. I should note
that when we lost connection to the sever we also lost our connection to Xbox Live
game chat. I restarted my console and loaded up my Goldcrest map. Now after
the loss of connection to the server my friend can not join me again, with the
same symptoms as before. He will get to the syncing part but never fully loads
into my game. He will stay at the loading screen and can he birds chirping.

The more work that gets done on the farm the longer the sync takes. If it gets as far as the synchronizong with other players screen allow the game to do its thing. It will eventually load. If you hear the birds chirping it is almost ready to go into the map. It can take up to 5 minutes for the sync to complete in my experience. It all depends on the game hosts speeds. If the upload speed is not the greatest it will take a while to synch. As farm sim on console doesn't run on a specific server it is all to do with the users connection. My upload speed is bad at 4mbps so I can't host multiplayer games stable. If I'm hosting people lag like mad. The more people on the map the better upload you need. Really nothing else that can be done to help on this matter as the mp mode is all user dependant on xbox

My friend sat there at the loading screen until he lost connection to the server. Something else is going on here.
