Platinum Expansion 17

My son has FS17 PC version on dvd rom. He got the 17 platinum expansion pack for Christmas also on dvd rom. He always plays the original version with the dvd in the laptop. Obviously we can’t put both dvds in the laptop at the same time so we’re having trouble. Is there a way to download the original version onto the laptop then put the expansion pack in the disc drive or will we have to buy the download version off the internet. Sorry, very green with this! Please help!

Pretty sure you put the Platinum Edition disk in the drive and download it. Then you can apply it to the game I believe

The platinum expansion doesn't need the base game. It is a stand alone version but You can make an ISO of both discs so you don't need to put either in to play the game. Forget the site off the top of my head but just do a quick Google search for " How to create an ISO" and it will give you the exact steps you need to take to do it
