Farming simulator 17 platinum help

My son got a new ps4 and fs 17 platinum for Christmas
He can only access the South American world
I'm assuming he isn't in the full game
The CD case says it includes the full game
How does he access it?

Platinum edition is a stand alone game. The full game is not included. This needs to be purchased seperately

You must be missing something. Start a new game and see if he can select other maps.

With mods there can be. The base game with no mods has 2, and Platinum adds another one
